Bishop Cedrick D. Bridgeforth announces the appointment of Rev. Buddy Gharring to serve New Meadows UMC in Idaho, effective July 1, 2026. Rev. Gharring, a licensed local pastor in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, will continue to be appointed to Hillview UMC in Boise, Idaho, three-quarter time and will serve New Meadows UMC on a quarter-time basis. Pastor Buddy resides in Boise with his wife and two young sons.
Sage & Columbia Districts Superintendent Rev. Karen Hernandez announces the assignment of Cydni Waldner to New Meadows UMC in Idaho, effective July 1, 2026. Waldner is a certified lay minister in the Oregon-Idaho Conference and will serve in this assignment quarter-time. Pastor Cydni is a full-time resident of New Meadows, where she resides with her husband. She is the mother to three grown children and grandmother to a granddaughter.
